Terrific food and excellent service. I was very happy to find good breakfast near the prudential center.

I don't normally leave reviews for breakfast spots even though I'm a big breakfast fan. You know when the breakfast starts with literally fresh cut fruit like two seconds before serving it's going to be good. Service was amazing. Food was amazing and looking forward to coming back. I loved this local spot. While on a visit to relatives I met a friend for breakfast and he recommended this restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful, my eggs Benedict was perfect. Nothing fancy, just good!

Super friendly staff. This was a recommendation from the nearby hotel. Ultimate Breakfast Bagel was amazing. Potatoes and fruit delicious as well.

Thorton's has been here for over 15 years. I know because my mother used to order us breakfast here when we lived here. My friends and I decided to eat at Thorton's one day after a walk and we enjoyed the food. My friend had the Mediterranean breakfast which she loved. My friend and I had egg white omelets with vegetables and rye toast which were fresh and cooked well. The service has always been great and the host and waitresses are always quick and welcoming.

We were craving breakfast food and this was the spot we chose which was perfect bc it was close to the hotel. Everyone ordered their basic 2 egg breakfast, I ordered their Mediterranean Menemen/Shaksuka which was delicious. 1 less star bc the home fries were a bit too soggy for our taste. Both the lady who sat us and the gentleman who took our order were very very kind. I would definitely recommend.

3.5 stars. Well loved, homey little diner. Plenty of seating available inside, with a bunch of seating available outside, but very close to the sidewalk. This place was super busy, but we were seated immediately on Sunday morning before 10am. Our server was extremely friendly and I overheard him explaining options and recommendations to the table next to us. My husband and I knew everything we wanted and were warned it would be about a 15-20 minute wait for the food. It came out faster than expected. I got the Oscar Eggs Benedict, which is crab cake. It was very good! My husband got the Amaretto Vanilla French toast, but without the sliced almonds on top. He said it had a very light vanilla flavor, but almost no almond flavor. He said it was good though. Overall, this was an inexpensive breakfast spot with solid options for everyone!
